Biography

"When launching ACC Liverpool I knew how important this was to the City and it still is.  I am proud that we help run the flagship building in the City"  Paul Heathcote

At the vibrant heart of Liverpool - European Capital of Culture 2008 - is the ACC Liverpool. On paper it sounds amazing. It comprises a Convention Centre with super hi-tech facilities that include a 1,350 seat auditorium, 18 breakout rooms, up to 7000m2 of exhibition space and the Echo Arena Liverpool, which is capable of seating over 10,000 concert goers. Five wind turbines and rainwater harvesting mean that it is also one of the most environmentally friendly venues in Europe: the ACC is designed to produce half the CO2  emissions such a venue might be expected to produce. But none of this really captures the essence of this place. Because in reality, this place really is amazing. If you drop by to find out, you'll be welcomed by one of the UK's most talked about events hospitality experts: Heathcotes @ ACC Liverpool. And because Heathcotes is truly proud to provide the events management at one of the world's most exciting venues, it will be a very warm welcome indeed.

Paul Heathcote is quoted as saying "We have worked hard at delivering a city experience on a world wide circuit with local staff, local suppliers and keeping true to our roots"

Situated in the Kings Dock on the River Mersey, the ACC Liverpool offers visitors a sensory experience that might be called unique. Opened in January 2008, the ACC is already the place to go for concert, entertainment and sports enthusiasts in the North West of the UK. Every conceivable amenity is here in abundance. So is Heathcotes. And the word is getting around that this combination makes holding private and corporate functions of almost any kind here a pleasure. It also makes perfect sense.

"Forget the old adage about the three most important things being location, location, location - we already have this at ACC Liverpool - it is about Quality, Quality, Quality" Paul Heathcote
