Paul Heathcote awarded MBE 2009

Heathcotes Outside Founder Paul Heathcote has been awarded an MBE in the Queens Birthday Honours list for services to the Hospitality Industry in the North West.

Paul founded Heathcotes Outside in 1997 and the company has grown to become one of the North Wests leading catering companies. 

On receiving the news Paul said he was "surprised but quietly delighted although he did not believe the news at first". He went on to say "My wife, Gabbi, had opened the letter and waited until we were all sat down around the dinner table before she read it out.  My kids, Sam, 10, and Georgia, 12, were delighted but I thought she was winding me up, to be honest, she had to show me the letter to prove it.  I am still a bit shocked now."
